Donabate Post Primary incorporates teaching blocks, library, I.T. facilities, special needs teaching, and an international standard hockey pitch. The school is arranged around a central courtyard and works include all site infrastructure, water treatment plant, landscaping, access road, and car park. It is a fine example of a modern educational facility procured under Design and Build.

Challenges & Achievements:

This project has proved to be particularly challenging due to the extremely high organic content of the soil on site. Perseverance and adaptation of techniques have allowed us to ensure that budgets are maintained and timescales met. Tackling these unexpected conditions and subsequent completion of Phase 1 resulted in CAB’s tender win for Phase 2.
