High Energy Impact Compaction

The High Energy impact compaction Technique is an alternative solution to the traditional roller compaction method, where the energy is transferred to the soil by means of the lifting and falling motion of the non-circular rotating mass. The exact nature of the treatment depends on the soil type, moisture condition and the depth of treatment required. The rollers are pulled at high speeds to generate a high-impact force that can compact material to depths which is significantly deeper than conventional static or vibratory rollers. This technique is particularly effective on sandy and reclaimed soils in large open sites. The greater depth of influence and compaction omits the need for bulk excavation and reinstatement. GPS monitoring equipment records the degree of compaction achieved. Results and correlated and verified with in situ independent testing.
